Structure of centrifugal water pump:

Many classification methods. According to the centrifugal pump impeller water inlet mode is divided into single suction pump, double suction pump, according to the number of impeller is divided into single-stage pump, multistage pump, according to the working pressure is divided into low pressure pump, pressure pump, high pressure pump, the pump shaft position is divided into horizontal pump, vertical pump etc.. 

1.Single stage single suction horizontal cantilever pump :

The water flow in the centrifugal pump axial flow and radial flow, divided into single-stage single suction cantilever centrifugal pump and single stage double suction horizontal centrifugal pump. 
Single-stage single suction cantilever centrifugal pump is horizontal. Single stage pump refers to only a single suction impeller; refers to flow only from the impeller side to enter, there is only one suction population; cantilever refers to the bearing of the pump shaft is arranged at one end of the pump shaft, the other end with an impeller shaft, a cantilever. 

2.Single stage double suction horizontal centrifugal water pump :

Single stage double suction pump has an impeller, two suction population. Generally adopt double support structure, that is, the bearing rotor bearing on both sides of the impeller, and close to the axis of the two ends. 

3.Multi-stage centrifugal pump: 

Multi stage centrifugal pump is arranged on the same root shaft with two or more than two impeller, water in turn through the impeller, the total pressure head is the sum of the impeller pressure head at all levels. 
The pump casing multistage centrifugal pump is divided into suction segment, middle segment and press. Suction section also known as front, is to ensure the flow of water to flow into the impeller friction losses the minimum entrance; a middle guide vane and guide vane in order to form the volute separator on the middle, middle, the last to speed up out of the water reducing speed, ensure that the water well into the next stage impeller; press section also called post, is a collection of water flow out from the impeller, and converts kinetic energy into pressure energy of water
